How to Cancel Amazon Order?

To cancel Amazon Order, you must login to your amazon account. You can log in into your account by clicking here. An order can only be cancelled if the item is not yet shipped. In case the item is shipped, then you can return or replace the item. However, whatever the case may be, you will get refund. So nothing to worry about! Amazon is a trusted and reputed shopping portal. For amazon, customer satisfaction is the utmost priority.

Let us now move ahead to learn, how can we cancel amazon order? I believe that you have recently ordered a product through amazon and you want to cancel you order.

Step-1: Log in to your amazon account.

Step-2: Bring mouse pointer near “Hello, You Name”. A drop down will open.

Step-3: Click on “Your Order” as shown in the above figure.

Step-4: When you click on “Your Order”, a list of ordered items will open.

Step-5: Select the ordered item by clicking on the check box which you want to cancel and click on “Cancel Items” button. This is shown in above figure by red rectangular area.

Step-6: Once you click on “Cancel Items” button, a new form will open.

Step-7: You need to select the reason due to which you are cancelling amazon order. There are many reasons like “Order created by Mistake”, “Items(s) would not arrive on time”, “Shipping Cost too high” etc. Select the most appropriate reason for your case.

Step-8: Click on Cancel “checked items button”. Your order has been successfully cancelled and you will get refund.

Step-9: Check you email for order cancellation and refund status. You can also check the cancellation status by going to “Your Order” section. You will see the cancelled order in the list of cancelled amazon order.

Thus you can cancel amazon order anytime but before the shipment of the product. Once the item is shipped, you can return or repace the item. The process to return a product on amazon will be discussed in another post.
